The sun was down in the dawn,
My heart was crowned with the frown.
And you were there in the bawn,
I was waiting with the fawn.
Who cared we lost the touch,
The bartender said he had the couch.
I had intended not to vouch,
But who cared if i had to mouch.
All my efforts had gone to vain,
Didn’t i need to go for slain ?
What i saw was all the plain,
But it was nothing but mundane.
And you were there, right there,
Watching me with no tears.
Was that the time to give the gear,
When i was fighting with my fear ?
I was waiting for the crown,
But the sun was down in the dawn.
